An independent insurance agency in Poland, Ohio, built from the ground up on one simple idea: get the coverage right, explain it clearly, and treat every client’s home, vehicles, farm and business as if they were our own.
Why I Started This Agency
I was first licensed in 2012, and early in my career I saw how often clients were let down. I watched agents offer discounts that didn’t really apply just to close a sale, or leave off endorsements that would have protected the client because they made the price look higher. People walked away thinking they were covered, and too often they found out otherwise at claim time.
I’ve always loved building something, and I’ve always loved helping people through what feels like a daunting task. Insurance is a mix of logic, emotion and real-life consequences, and it deserves to be handled with care. In 2017 I opened my own agency, starting from zero, so I could do it the right way: the correct coverage first, a fair price second, and never a quick sale at the expense of a client.

A Farm Is More Than a Home With a Business On It
Farms are one of our specialties. Barns, equipment, livestock, farm vehicles, custom work, and the liability that comes with all of it need a much deeper review than a standard homeowners policy. I hold the AFIS (Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist) designation, which I keep active through annual continuing education, and we do a true deep dive with every farm client to make sure the little things aren’t missed. With hands-on experience with horses, chickens and other livestock, I understand rural life from the inside, and I work with farms throughout Ohio.
Rooted in the Mahoning Valley
I was born and raised in Canfield and have been part of this community my whole life. Today our office is at 211 S Main St in Poland, serving families, farms and businesses across Poland, Boardman, Canfield, Youngstown, Struthers, Columbiana, Salem and the greater Mahoning Valley, with clients throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and West Virginia.
This business has always been about getting out and meeting people, and that’s what has made it great. I’m an active member of the Rotary Club of Poland because I believe a community needs leaders who are also servants, helping those who are less fortunate. During my term as president, we started an Interact Club in our local schools, Rotary’s program for high school students to serve and engage with their community. I’m also a member of BNI, a business group where local owners help one another grow and connect.
